Megan Ivey (dance captain) has been dancing and performing since the
age of 8. She has trained with some of the most noted masters of tap,
including Sam Weber, Gregory Hines, Arthur Duncan and Max Pollack.
In addition, she studied mime under the direction of the world
-renowned
master, Marcel Marceau. Megan received a scholarship to study ballet
with the prestigious Moscow Ballet and the Royal Ballet of London. She
has performed throughout the United States in both reperto
ry theater and
summer stock.

Megan is a graduate of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey
Clown College. She trained with such master clowns as Lou Jacobs,
Frosty Little, Bobby Kay and Peggy Williams and toured with the Blue unit
for one season. Megan has worked in television and film with such stars
as Perry Como, Herschel Bernardi, Cloris Leachman and Dick Van Dyke.
Currently, Megan teaches at Broadway Dance Center in Tracy, where
she is artistic director of all the tap companies
, and at the San Ramon
Valley Dance Academy, where she is artistic director of the junior tap
company. Megan continues to study privately with Sam Weber.
