















Tal Oppenheimer was selected to be B.A.R.T.’s first soloist ,
performing Eddie Brown's challenging "Highland Fling." Tapping since
the age of six, Tal just can't seem to stop! She has studied ballet, lyrical
and jazz, but tap is her passion. Currently performing both with B.A.R.T.
and Pamm Drake's Dance/10, Tal has studied with a variety of tap
instructors. She currently studies privately with Tap Master Sam Weber
and performs his choreography as a soloist. Tal has been a teaching
assistant to Debbie Sternbach, both at the Northern California Tribute to
the Masters Workshop and at The Beat in Berkeley. She was recently
selected to study at New York's Tap Kids’ Summer Intensive.
Tal has performed at such venues as Disneyland, Community
Assistance for the Retarded and Handicapped events, country clubs and
breast cancer fundraisers. This year, she will be participating in the 2007
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Tal is currently a senior at Lick-
Wilmerding High School in San Francisco, where she enjoys technical
art classes, including wood and glass shop.
